From navigating out of a basement in 1996 to expanding offices around the country, Impulse Advanced Communications (
http://impulse.net
) has always taken their role in supporting the community as a core business function.
President, Dave Clark came aboard the Business Giving Roundtable (BGR) Advisory Council as a Founding Member in 2010 to advance the region's corporate giving. Seven years later, Impulse now leads other local businesses with inspiration for corporate good. Today, Lee Carlander, Business Development Director, is manning the BGR sails, with Impulse commitments still at full steam--- While Impulse and their employees support many local causes, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care (VNHC) has become a central partner.
Carlander, son of legendary managed care champion Marilyn Carlander, grew-up witnessing the importance home health care provides our community. So when the opportunity came for Impulse to invest in local organizations, his heart and head demanded he carry the home care beacon and support the great work of VNHC.
This marks the 10th year Impulse has sponsored the annual, Charity Regatta benefiting VNHC, and the event has become a part of the Impulse culture.
Scheduled for September 10th, the Charity Regatta is a beautiful day filled with racing, boat rides, cuisine, and live music. Hosted by the Santa Barbara Yacht Club, this marks the 12th year of yachting fun for a great cause. We invite you to come aboard! For more information and tickets click here (http://www.vnhcsb.org/regatta).
